Capabilities
The SEA Class workboat is engineered to meet the demanding requirements of modern maritime operations, offering a robust platform that excels in both performance and safety. Certified to MCA Category 2 standards, the vessel is authorised for operations up to 60 miles from a safe haven, ensuring it is well-suited for coastal and offshore assignments.

Equipped with an IMO-approved navigation suite, the SEA Class workboat delivers precise and dependable situational awareness in all conditions. The integrated navigation system supports safe passage planning, real-time monitoring, and efficient route management, which are essential for both routine and complex missions.

A standout feature of the SEA Class workboat is the Mouseboat control system, providing intuitive and responsive handling. This technology enables operators to manoeuvre the vessel with exceptional accuracy, even in challenging environments.

Designed for multi-role versatility, the SEA Class workboat can be configured for a diverse range of operations. The adaptable platform supports logistics tasks, such as the transport of equipment and supplies, as well as officer training programmes. The vessel is equally capable in hydrographic survey roles, offering stability and precision for data collection, and can be used for passenger transport. Additionally, the workboat serves as an effective dive launch platform, providing reliable access and support for underwater operations. This breadth of capability ensures the SEA Class workboat remains a valuable asset.

USPs
The most significant advantage of the SEA Class workboat is modularity. This approach allows rapid reconfiguration, enabling operators to tailor the vessel to specific mission requirements.

Closely linked to modularity is the re-role capability of SEA Class. The vessels are engineered to transition seamlessly between different operational roles, making them invaluable assets for navies that require multi-purpose platforms.

In response to the growing requirement for automation, SEA Class workboats are autonomy ready. Built with the infrastructure necessary to support autonomous and remotely operated missions, paving the way for future upgrades.

A defining feature of the SEA Class vessel is its high payload capacity. These vessels are engineered to carry substantial loads, whether it be equipment, supplies, or personnel. The robust hull design and efficient layout maximise usable space, allowing operators to transport more without compromising safety or performance. High payload capacity is essential for missions, enhancing the overall utility of the workboat across a variety of operational scenarios.
