Thilo“I’m drawn to the challenge”

Thilo shows how you can grow beyond yourself at TKMS. At 18, he started his apprenticeship at the shipyard and then completed two industrial master craftsman qualifications in metal and mechatronics. Soon after, he pursued a part-time degree in mechanical engineering and took the next career step as a plant engineer. His recipe for success? Cleverly combining practical work and studies - such as through a thesis project at TKMS.

  • Usually, your work is limited to one department, but this often offers a wide range of insights.

  • You receive a stipend of 900 euros per month. The duration of your employment depends on the time required for your thesis as specified in your examination regulations.

  • Writing your thesis with us gives us the opportunity to get to know each other better. If everything fits, we hope to plan a future together soon.
