Human Rights

TKMS1 is committed to the highest sustainability standards, which include good corporate gover-nance as well as ecological and social responsibility. As an international corporate group, we source raw materials, goods, and services worldwide. People are at the center of everything we do. This applies equally to everyone – both our own employees and our suppliers.

Our fundamental values naturally include respect for human rights and basic environmental stan-dards. Our values, such as personal responsibility, openness, and transparency, as well as always lawful and ethically correct behavior, play an important role in this.

1 As long as we refer only to "TKMS" or the "TKMS Group," without specifying the legal form, we mean TKMS GmbH, TKMS ATLAS ELEKTRONIK GmbH, and all affiliated domestic and foreign companies. These are regularly all companies in which TKMS GmbH or TKMS ATLAS ELEKTRONIK GmbH directly or indirectly holds the majority of voting rights.

Structures and Responsibilities

TKMS has developed a group-wide concept and a corresponding organizational structure to establish a sustainable culture for compliance with human rights and environmental due diligence obligations.

This is implemented through the interdisciplinary collaboration of various departments, which work together with additional experts responsible for the implementation of due diligence obligations within our own business area or in our supply chain. This integrated approach is also reflected in the responsibilities of our management members for human rights and environmental protection. For more details on the structures and responsibilities, please refer to our Statement of Principles.

Whistleblower System / “Whistleblow” System

An online reporting system enables employees as well as individuals outside the company to anonymously report possible compliance violations, including potential human rights violations, at any time.

The option to submit reports is available to all TKMS employees, as well as customers, suppliers, and other third parties.TKMS and the Compliance organizational unit protect the interests of whistleblowers not only by establishing this secure whistleblowing system but also by committing to treat incoming reports confidentially and to protect whistleblowers acting in good faith from any disadvantages resulting from a report by all necessary means.

Reports can be submitted (also anonymously) via the following link:
