Using the Matamo web analysis tool 

We use the web analysis tool Matomo to evaluate our website. Visitor interactions are recorded in order to continuously improve the content and structure of our website. Visitors are recognised by an identifier. This identifier is formed from a combination of technical information (e.g. operating system, browser, plugins, IP address in abbreviated form and language settings). 

All data is collected exclusively in pseudonymous form. This means that the data is processed in such a way that it can no longer be directly assigned to a specific person. Our aim is to obtain an aggregated overview of the use of our website (e.g. which pages are visited particularly frequently) without gaining insight into the individual behaviour of an individual person.

Depending on your consent, we use the following first-party cookies:

• pk_id: Used to identify new and recurring visitors (store visitor ID, number of visits, and time stamp of the first and last visit) to enable evaluations of visit frequency and conversion paths. (Storage period: 13 months)

• pk_ses: Link all actions of a user within a session (e.g. page views, clicks, downloads) to a single visit to ensure correct assignment of the session. (Storage time: 30 minutes)
• pk_hsr: Stores temporary data so that page views within a session can be correctly mapped to heatmaps. (storage time: duration of the session)
• pk_ref: Allows the attribution of visits to external sources (referrers) in order to analyse in the overall view which external links or campaigns reach our website. (Storage period: 6 months)

These cookies serve the general analysis of user behavior and the optimization of the website by means of heat maps (visualization of click behavior and scrolling depth on an aggregated level). The data processed for this purpose will be deleted in accordance with the above-mentioned storage periods

Hosting

The hosting for this website is carried out by a processor in the EU. In order to protect your personal data, a data processing agreement has been concluded with the service provider. 

We process the following data about you in order to process your request, if you provide it in the contact formular: title, first name, name, email, telephone number, street, house number, postal code, city, postal code, state/region, country, the content of your request. We will pass on your personal data to other recipients if this is necessary to fulfil your request. 

The legal basis for the processing of personal data using the contact formular is your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). We process your data until your consent is revoked. We cannot process your request without providing the data necessary to contact you and to understand and process your request. All other information is voluntary. 
 

When you sign up for our newsletter form, we process your e-mail address, the selection of which type of newsletter you would like to have, as well as other data that you provide us with via the form (e.g. telephone, first name, last name, organisation data). The mandatory information for sending the newsletter is the e-mail address. 

We use the so-called double opt-in procedure for registering for our newsletter. This means that once you have registered, we will send you an email to the email address provided for verification and confirmation. If no confirmation is given, the information will no longer be used and deleted.

The legal basis for the processing of your personal data in connection with the registration and sending for the newsletter is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke your consent at any time and unsubscribe from the newsletter. You will find an unsubscribe link in each newsletter e-mail address.
