In his new leadership role, Dr. Andreas Görgen will ensure the proper execution of the order book, which currently stands at around 20 billion euros. In addition,
he will contribute to technology development and the expansion of the product pipeline, as well as explore and establish potential new partnerships for TKMS’s

A doctor of law and graduate of the French Ecole Nationale d’Administration, he has been working for 20 years with a European focus at the intersection of industry and government: After several years at the Federal Chancellery, he followed current Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier to the Federal Foreign Office, where he oversaw key issues in industrial and cultural policy as well as arms exports and foreign trade.
Later in his career, Dr. Andreas Görgen was responsible for Siemens’ energy sector: initially in France, and subsequently across Southwest Europe. There, among other things, he restructured the sales organization, improved project management, and secured numerous contracts for large-scale plant engineering projects.
After returning to the Federal Foreign Office—and subsequently to the Federal Chancellery—he headed the Office of the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media. He then moved to SPRIND GmbH in Leipzig, where he oversaw the collaboration with the French Banque Publique d’Investissement as well as strategic initiatives and projects in the areas of innovation, security, and defense. His tenure as a Member of the Supervisory Board of TKMS also fell during this period.
Dr. Volkmar Dinstuhl, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of TKMS: “We are very pleased to have gained in Dr. Görgen an internationally experienced top manager for the upcoming, responsible, and challenging issues of the future, who, as a former member of the Supervisory Board, is also already very familiar with TKMS.”
As of May 15, 2026, the TKMS Management Board will consist of the following members: Oliver Burkhard (CEO), Paul Glaser (CFO), Angelika Kambeck (CHRO), Dr. Dirk Steinbrink (CTO), and Dr. Andreas Görgen (COO).
